As a city that is being increasingly known for its safety, New York City has not been very safe the last 48 hours. Within the last two days 25 people have been shot in New York City leaving only Staten Island the only borough untouched by the violence. One report shows the violence breakdown as:
Authorities say 12 people were shot in Brooklyn, eight in the Bronx, four in Queens and one, who was shot in broad daylight, in Manhattan

As of today only six victims were killed, but many are gravely injured. The age range of those shot are between 11 and mid-40s.
There are more blogs and articles about the violence on the “Game Of Thrones” last night than on the 25 people shot in NYC over the weekend.
