Michelle Obama got heckled at a Washington fundraiser Tuesday night and CNN obtained the rare moment the First Lady confronted the outspoken woman.
Mrs. Obama was at a Democratic National Committee event held at a private home speaking about the children at a high school in a tough neighborhood of Chicago that she had recently visited. In the middle of her passionate speech, gay rights activist Ellen Sturtz interrupted the First Lady, yelling for President Obama to sign an executive order to protect gays and lesbians from employment discrimination.

Mrs. Obama was not happy with the protestor and paused her speech to confront the outspoken woman.
“One of the things I don’t do well is this, do you understand?” Mrs. Obama said before threatening to walk off the stage. “Listen to me or you can take the mike, but I’m leaving. You all decide. You have one choice.”
The crowd cheered for Mrs. Obama to stay and for the heckler to get out. Sturtz was then escorted out of the event.
