Niece of Vice President Joe Biden, Caroline, was arrested this morning in New York City. Caroline Biden, 26, has had trouble with the police before in 2009 when she was detained because of a “misunderstanding over a train fare” in Delaware, according to NY Daily News.

Currently, it is unclear as to what the argument was about, but Caroline was definitely arrested after a fight with her roommate. At 9:15 a.m. this morning, police arrived at Caroline’s home in the Desbrosses Street building in Tribeca, Manhattan. Apparently, Caroline was arrested upon being questioned by police because she actually “got physical” with them. NBC New York reports that Caroline Biden actually took a swing at an NYPD officer and is accused of resisting arrest.

Biden is charged with obstructing governmental administration and harassment in addition to the other allegations.CBS news writes:

She was expected to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon on charges of obstructing government administration, resisting arrest and harassment, 1010 WINS reports.

The Vice President’s office has declined to comment.

Caroline Biden is a Georgetown University graduate and is daughter to James Biden Sr., Joe Biden’s brother. She presently works at an art gallery called Higher Pictures on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
