An horrific rush hour crash on the LBJ freeway in Dallas, Texas is reported to have left multiple people trapped and injured, reports the Dallas-Fort Worth Scanner.

1. The Dump Truck Jumped the Concrete Barriers on the Freeway
It’s reported that a dump truck jumped over the east bound lane of the LBJ free way and landed on the west bound one. Two cars were crushed under the truck. The free way is shut down going both directions.
2. There May Be Up to as Many as 2 Dead
Dallas Fire Rescue chief Jason Evans told Fox 4 that one person was confirmed dead and another fatality was possible.
3. The Responding Hazmat Team Got Caught in Gridlock
Hazmat have been deployed to the scene. Initially a Dallas Hazmat team got stuck in traffic, an alternative Hazmat team from Plano, Texas were quickly dispatched.

5. This Comes During a Major Construction Project to Widen the LBJ Freeway
The LBJ freeway is under a billion dollar construction project to be widened. Construction started on the road in 2011, reports The Dallas News.
