  1. I think the most important fact omitted here is that Lien was a victim of bikers who had been terrorizing motorists and appropriating public roads during their web staged ‘stunzt’ events over the past few years. The participation in these bike ‘swarmings’ included many young male riders who work in various uniformed services in the metropolitan New York region, and that provided a cadre of riders trained in police motorcade ‘traffic flow and control’ protocol. That they used this to cordon off public highways is an outrage and is the elephant in the room. This year there has been a precipitous fall off in public ‘rides,’ no accident. Meanwhile Cyrus Vance, Manhattan DA is publicly pursuing other ‘stunt seekers’ such as those guys who parachuted off of buildings, to distract from this most troubling and vexing issue that shows the corruption in too may police.

  2. Also omitted fact: Lien commits 4 felonies that can easily be enumerated from Kevin Bresloff’s helmet cam video. The New York state Citizens arrest legal text specifically mentions arrest of a felon in case of manslaughter. Typically 4 felonies means a minimum of 48 months in prison. The Lower Manhattan District Attorneys office chooses to ignore the crimes of an affluent man.
