Report Reveals Findings in Sandy Hook Massacre [FULL DOCUMENT]

Nearly one year after 26 students and educators lost their lives at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, the Danbury state’s attorney has released the official report on the tragedy that saddened our nation and sparked renewed debate over gun control.

While the report sheds light on the complicated investigation, NBC Connecticut reports it is not intended to answer all questions. Meanwhile, the potentially controversial 911 tapes tied to the horrific events of December 14, 2012, remain unreleased pending a judge’s review.

The PDF file (read full report below) was released at 3 p.m. EST November 25, 2013, on the state website with a press release from Stephen J. Sedensky III, state’s attorney for the district of Danbury, which reads, in part:

The report concludes that the 20-year-old Adam Lanza acted alone when he fatally shot his mother at their home in Newtown and then went to the elementary school where he fatally shot 20 first-grade pupils and six adults and wounded two other adults.
