Sarjbit Bains has been charged by police in British Columbia, Canada, with the murders of call girls Karen Nabors and Jill Lyons as well as the burning to death murder of Amritpal Saran, reports News 1130.

1. He’s Charged With 3 Counts of Murder
Bains will appear in court later in January. He’s charged with three murders in the region around Surrey in British Columbia, Canada.
2. 2 of the Victims Were Neighbors
It’s not known how the murders are all linked but Jill Lyons and Karen Nabors were both found murdered in the same apartment complex in New Westminister in August 2013.
3. The Other Victim Was Burned to Death
In the other murder, the charred corpse of Amritpal Saran was found in Surrey, British Columbia was found in February 2013. Saran had been known to police but didn’t have gang affiliations, reports Global News Canada.
4. A Female Accomplice Has Also Been Charged
A woman, Evelina Urbaniak, has been charged alongside Bains for her alleged involvement in Saran’s death. She’s accused of being an accessory after the fact and interference with a dead body, reports The Surrey Leader.
5. The Murders Prompted Panic in the Quiet BC Town of Surrey
The deaths of Lyons and Nabors led police in the area to issue a plea for escorts to be vigilant and take extra measures for safety.
