Alongside California State Senator Leland Yee and leader of triad gang, the Chee Kung Tong organization, Raymond “Shrimp-Boy” Chow another man was arrested on March 26. The man was NFL agent and boxing manager Marlon Sullivan. A man who describes himself on his Twitter profile as an “All round great human being.” He’s charged with drug dealing, firearms dealing as well as setting up a “murder-for-hire” scheme.

1. Sullivan is One of the Youngest Agents in the NFL
He was one of the youngest licensed contract advisers for NFL players, at the age of just 24. Through the agency that he works for, Novo, Sullivans counts the 49ers LaMichael James, the Raiders Mike Brisiel and the Bills Dennis Dixon as clients. Sullivan’s profile has been removed from The Novo Agency website.

In addition to his current clients, Sullivan was once the agent of NFL legend John Elway.
2. Sullivan is Also a Boxing Manager
He’s the de-facto manager of boxer Karim Mayfield. According to Boxing Scene, Mayfield and Sullivan had not signed an official agreement linking them together, but were about to. Mayfield faces the biggest fight of his career on March 29 in Atlantic City against Thomas Dulorme live on HBO.
Mayfield was told about Sullivan’s arrest by a reporter for San Francisco Weekly, the boxer told the magazine, “Oh, what the hell? He was supposed to be meeting me out here today.” According to an interview with Sports Agent Blog, Sullivan and Mayfield grew up in the same neighborhood. Sullivan also says that he has been in business with Mayfield’s brother, Laron, for a “long time.”
3. Sullivan Claims He Taught Himself Computer Programming
He grew up in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood. Sullivan, 29, is a graduate of the University of San Francisco with masters in sports management. In addition, Sullivan brags on social media about how he taught himself computer programming
4. Sullivan Allegedly Told an FBI Agent: ‘I Still Got Ties to the Street’
He’s accused of dealing drugs, selling guns and offering to have to have someone murdered. In a federal affidavit, he’s said to have told an undercover he’d have no trouble pulling off a “hit.” He’s alleged to have said “I got a hundred niggas, I still got my ties to the street, I got young boys who love me.”
The documents state that he’s accused of fronting an operation to buy 10 kilograms of cocaine from an undercover agent.
5. He’s a Family Man
On his various social media profiles, there are many pictures of Sullivan to young children. He also credits his girlfriend with helping him “maximize his full potential.”
