6. The Big N Will Show Off A New Wii U Zelda Game Called The Legend of Zelda: Shard of Nightmare
Nintendo has opted to hold their own digital event livestream at E3 2014, but it won’t take place on the big soundstage gamers are used to seeing Sony and Microsoft on. The Big N is also reported to show off a number of great upcoming releases that are slated to be playable on the show floor.
One of the games that immediately steps out is a new Legend of Zelda Wii U game that has the subtitle Shard of Nightmare. The picture seen above displays this game and the Hyrule Warriors beat ‘em up as two separate games, which is another interesting tidbit you need to take notice of.
Some of the other huge Wii U and 3DS games that are rumored to land on Nintendo’s show floor is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night 2 (3DS), Pokken Fighters (Wii U) and Xenogears: Origins (Wii U).
7. Microsoft’s Live Press Conference Will Show Off Gameplay Previews for Beyond Good & Evil 2, Forza Horizon 2, Gears of War 4, Quantum Break and Star Wars: Battlefront 3
Microsoft is holding a live press conference opposite Sony at E3 2014 as always. They’re planning on bringing out the big guns just like their rival, which has lead us towards this leaked plan sheet for the games looking to be shown for the Xbox One. The pic posted above reveals a large selection of exclusive games that will receive gameplay demos – Beyond Good and Evil 2, Forza Horizon 2, Gears of War 4, Quantum Break, Star Wars: Battlefront, Fable Legends, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Titanfall’s planned DLC.
8. Microsoft Will Show Off a Tech Demo for Halo 5; A Series Compilation Will Be Announced
Also seen on the leaked pic are Microsoft’s plans to show off a tech demo for Halo 5, which was shown off at E3 2013 in a teaser trailer. Along with this rumored Halo E3 2014 reveal, it’s also being rumored that Microsoft will unveil a franchise compilation called Halo: The Master Chief Collection. This bundle will reportedly include Halo 1, 2, 3 and 4 all in a single package for the Xbox One. Side games in the series such as Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach are believed to not be a part of this collection.
9. A Bunch of Electronic Arts Published Games Will Be Shown for The Big Three’s Consoles
Electronic Arts looks like they’re going to be a major player at this year’s E3. Several of their games that are currently in development for each next-gen console look like they’re slated to be playable during E3 2014: Dragon Age: Inquisition, EA Sports UFC, NHL 15 and Star Wars: Battlefront.
10. Dishonored 2 Will Be Shown
This off-screen photo started floating around the web, which leads people to believe that Bethesda and Arkane Studios are hard at work on a sequel to the underrated first-person shooter Dishonored. The hashtag #DarknessOfTyvia can also be seen below Dishonored 2’s logo, but no news have leaked out regarding what exactly that is.
