The MLB Draft starts tonight at 7 p.m. Eastern time and will be held in Seacaucus, New Jersey.

The MLB Draft is going on its 7th year of being broadcast since it was never televised until ESPN2 did in 2007. The Houston Astros will be picking first for the third year in a row, marking the first time that’s happened for any team. This will be the Astros’ fifth time in the Number 1 spot. Click here for the full draft order.

The top draft prospects include Brady Aiken a left-handed pitcher straight out of San Diego Cathedral Catholic High School, Carlos Rodon, a left-handed pitcher from NC State, and Kyle Schwarber, a catcher coming out of his junior year at Indiana University. Tyler Kolek, is the top righ-handed pitcher coming from Shepherd High School in Texas. The Marlins, White Sox and Cubs all have the best chance next to the Astros at getting one these top players. The talented newcomers are among a deep group of players that have scouted for the major leagues, so the draft can go in many different directions.
