5. They Support Each Other
— Jelena Ristic (@JelenaRisticNDF) June 17, 2014
When they started dating, it wasn’t easy, since he was an aspiring tennis player and she was a poor student.
In an interview with PTC, she said:
Us getting together was like science fiction almost. I was a student barely getting by, and he was a very young tennis player who also had no money to spare on expensive trips. Airplanes were, at the time, something utterly out of our reach. We contrived and devised these plans how to meet, how to make our relationship work.
Ristic gushed at how their support system works both ways.
She told the Daily Mail:
The emotional support we give to each other is very important. It’s the same for me as well. He is very supportive and encouraging of the work that I do.
