Galazia Niehaus, a 13-year-old girl, was found stabbed to death in Saline County, Kansas, in hugely mysterious circumstances, reports the Salina Post.

1. She Was Killed After Multiple Stab Wounds to the Back
Niehaus was found dead along Remington Road in Salina, Kansas, at 1:45 a.m. on August 1. The crime was announced by the Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski on YouTube:
According to Salina.com, Niehaus died after multiple stab wounds to the back.
2. Her Sister Is in Custody
The girl’s sister has been taken into custody in relation to the horrific crime. Niehaus’ parents tried to save their daughter’s life by giving her CPR, reports Salina.com.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation are assisting the Saline County sheriff’s department in the investigation. The investigation is centering around a rural area on Remington and Rifle Road in Saline County, Kansas. Salina.com reports that “the KBI also was investigating a van in Jerry Ivey Park.”

4. She Was Only in Middle School
Niehaus was student at Ell-Saline Middle School in Brookeville, Kansas, according to her Facebook page.
5. The Niehaus Family Own Property on the Road Where the Attack Happened
According to public records, a Dean Niehaus is the owner of the home at 7584 Remington Road. The town of Salina is 87 miles north of Wichita.
