Dustin Johnson tested positive for cocaine and has been suspended from the PGA Tour for six months. That’s the word from Golf.com at least.
The golfer, known for his party lifestyle, shocked few people by announcing his leave of absence from golf on July 31. In a statement, Johnson said:
I will use this time to seek professional help for personal challenges I have faced. By committing the time and resources necessary to improve my mental health, physical well-being and emotional foundation, I am confident that I will be better equipped to fulfill my potential and become a consistent champion.
Prior to his leave, Johnson was being considered for a place the Ryder Cup.
