After last season, neither Air Force or Western Michigan probably expected to be going bowling in 2014. AFA won 2 games, WMU 1. This season the Falcons come in at 9-3 and the Broncos 8-4 and they meet Saturday in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise.

Air Force brings a top 10 running offense into the game, led by Jacobi Owens’ 1,054 yards.

On the other side, Western Michigan’s Zach Terrell completed 70 percent of his passes for 3,146 yards and 23 touchdowns. Freshman running back Jarvion Franklin was also a force, gaining 1,525 yards and 24 scores.

The game can be seen on ESPN at 5:45 p.m. Eastern. Joining play-by-play announcer Eamon McAnaney will be Dan Hawkins (analyst) and Dawn Davenport (sideline).
