The college football bowl season gets underway Saturday when Nevada (7-5) faces Louisiana-Lafayette (8-4) in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl in the Superdome.

The Wolf Pack are led by quarterback Cody Fajardo, who with 3 rushing yards will become the first player this season in the FBS to throw for at least 2,000 and rush for 1,000. The Ragin’ Cajuns finished the season strong, winning 7 of their last 8 games.

The game will air on ESPN at 11 a.m. Eastern. Bob Wischusen will handle play-by-play duties with former Texas coach Mack Brown providing color analysis. Kaylee Hartung is the sideline reporter.
