A video posted to YouTube by Matthew Keys shows the aftermath of the assault on the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Mark Lippert. He was attacked in central Seoul by a knife-wielding man and left bloodied, according to Yonhap news.
Lippert was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and his condition wasn’t immediately known.
The attacker was taken into custody at the scene.
