Wire-to-wire. And it wasn’t even close.

Jordan Spieth dominated Augusta National and the rest of the field to win the 79th Masters Sunday at 18-under 270, tying the tournament record set by Tiger Woods in 1997.

The 21-year-old grabbed the first round lead with an 8-under Thursday and never looked back, while setting course record scores for 36- and 54-holes.

Spieth closed with a 2-under 70 on Sunday to become the first wire-to-wire winner at the Masters since 1976.

Spieth became the first player in Masters history to hit the -19 mark, but a bogey on the final hole prevented him from setting the tournament record.

Surely he doesn’t mind.

Justin Rose (-2) and Phil Mickelson (-3) finished 4 strokes back at 14-under 270.
