Cara Delevingne’s incredibly awkward interview with Good Day Sacramento was just the icing on the cake. Delevingne appeared on the morning show to promote her new movie, Paper Towns. But the interview quickly devolved as the anchors asked the star strange questions and Delevingne’s sarcasm was interpreted as rudeness. Other celebrities, like Whoopi Goldberg, were quick to criticize Delevingne, while still others like Zach Braff jumped to her defense.

These are the reactions you need to see.

1. Cara Delevingne’s Interview Was Full of Awkward Questions

Judge for yourself if these questions were awkward or if Delevingne’s responses were unwarranted. The interview was with anchors Kenneth Rudolph, Marianne McClary, and Mark Allen. Off the bat, the first question Delevingne was asked whether she had read the book on which her movie was based or if she was too busy. She responded with a joke, that she hadn’t read the book or the script, and everyone laughed. At that moment, everything seemed safe but it was all about to quickly devolve with this question:

Do you find that it’s easier for you to focus because you’re so busy? If you had downtime, maybe it wouldn’t be so easy for you? What do you think?

Delevingne responded that she had no idea where that question came from and then went on to answer it the best she could. A few moments later, this question was asked:

I saw you in London talking a couple weeks ago on TV and you seemed a lot more excited about it than you do right now. Are you just exhausted?

She responded that she might be tired because it was the morning. Upon which she was asked:

You do seem a bit irritated. Perhaps it’s just us.

When the interview ended, the anchors commented to one another about the interview, with statements including: “She was in a mood!” But maybe everyone was in a mood.

2. The Anchors Later Reacted in Very Different Ways

US Magazine reported on the story and shared two very different tweets the anchors later wrote about the interview. Rudolph admitted in his tweet (seen above) that his questions could have been better. But McClary put the blame on Delevingne with this tweet:
