The same account tweeted additional references to Chattanooga:
The situation was under control by about 1 p.m. The shooting spree started at the recruiting center on Lee Highway. The shooter then drove to another facility about eight miles away. The four Marines were killed there at a reserve recruiting and training facility on Amnicola Highway. The shooter was also killed on Amnicola Highway. Police have not said if the shooter was killed by police or killed himself.
Other ISIS supporters and affiliated accounts also praised the shooter, calling the killings a successful ISIS operation. The organization has not claimed responsibility, and officials have not yet said if the shooter was inspired by the terror organization, like the Garland shooters were.
Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated the tweets referencing the shooting were posted before the Chattanooga shooting. However, the tweet was time stamped 10:34 a.m. Pacific Time (1:34 ET p.m.), two hours after the event.
