You wan an NHL rivalry, we’ve got an NHL rivalry.

The San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings square off in the second of two games broadcast on NBCSN on Wednesday night and things are about to get pretty heated, pretty quickly. After all, these two teams don’t like each other very much.

Or, you know, at all.

The Sharks have already taken some big preseason hits to their roster, particularly a 41-game suspension to Raffi Torres after his hit on Anaheim Ducks right wing Jakob Silfverberg. It’s the longest suspension in NHL history and Torres, who had previously been suspended four times, will also forfeit $440,860 in salary for the suspension. San Jose will also likely be without forward Melker Karlsson who has been out with an undisclosed injury.

The Los Angeles Kings, meanwhile, are looking for a serious bounce-back after a season that was nothing short of disappointing last year. The squad missed the playoffs, saw three of their players arrested and faced inter-squad turmoil that made more headlines for its off-the-ice drama than on-the-ice success. The Kings added some new faces in the offseason, including winger Milan Lucic and defenseman Christan Ehrhoff and are nothing short of confident in what Jonathan Quick can do in net.

Puck drop for the Pacific Division tilt is slated for 10:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on NBCSN. Here’s how to watch the game, even if you aren’t near a TV:
