How it Works

Everything with Splikity is automatic. Splikity does all the work for the user in the background automatically so the user doesn’t have to do anything. Everything with Splikity is simple and automatic. Splikity saves your passwords, automatically fills your passwords as you browse the internet, automatically syncs your passwords to all of your devices, and automatically recommends a strong unique password for each new account you sign up for to help keep you safe online.

How the Idea Came About

We built Splikity because we needed it. We already hated passwords even before we got hacked – there were just too many to remember. Then our friends hacked our eBay password and started bidding on wrecked Ferraris. Although it was a practical joke, it was a real wake-up call because hacking is real and it ruins people’s lives. Ever since then, security has been our number-one priority in our personal lives, but especially for Splikity. Splikity keeps you secure, but it also eliminates all of those password problems and frustrations. We got tired of so many passwords. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to log into an account only to have forgotten the password and then having to go through all of the steps to reset the password. And then the next time you want to log in to that account, it happens all over again.

It Being Easy For All Ages

We built Splikity specifically for everyday users who are not tech savvy. We recently had a 75-year-old customer reach out to tell us how much she loved Splikity and how it fixed all of her password problems. She had heard about our company from her 80-year-old friend who recommended it to her. We’re thrilled that Splikity is simple enough for 75 and 80-year-olds to use and enjoy because that was our vision all along – to make it easy enough for the older generation to use, but design-forward so the younger generation would love it too.

Working With His Brother

Working together is probably the best decision we could have made. We’re very different people and we approach problems differently. It’s great having different perspectives. But we obviously have known each other our whole lives, so we know how the other thinks before he even says it. It makes running the company very efficient because we don’t have to get bogged down in a bunch of meetings trying to figure out what the other is thinking and trying to get everyone on the same page.

Creating the App

We are the creative minds behind every part of it – from the design to the functionality. We have assembled an unbelievable team of engineers that work extremely hard to build out our vision and have contributed an unbelievable amount time, effort and talent to this amazing project.

The ‘Tank’ Experience

Appearing on Shark Tank is a whole different experience. Nothing like either one of us have ever encountered before. It’s definitely not business as usual. I’ve never had a makeup artist touch me up before I’ve gone into a meeting. The experience is a spectacle, just like the show. People wouldn’t believe the amount of production that goes into it and all the hard work from people behind the scenes. We worked with great people from the show that walked us through the TV magic part of appearing on Shark Tank, so we weren’t really nervous in the Tank. We were more surprised.
