A brawl involving a fast food restaurant employee and a customer was caught on video and has gone viral.
It’s not clear what led up to the fight. The video was posted Monday afternoon. It shows an employee behind the counter at the Five Guys Burger and Fries restaurant in Miami, Florida, throwing cups at a customer, before the brawl breaks out.
The fight happened at the Five Guys restaurant at 1500 Washington Avenue near 15th Street in Miami Beach, NBC Miami reports.
After the cups are thrown, the customer approaches the counter and knocks down a stack of cups. Another employee chases after her, punching her in the head as as security guard steps in to try and break up the fight. The employee grabs the woman by the hair and begins pounding on her head repeatedly with a closed fist. Two other employees join in and also hit the woman several times in the head. Eventually the woman is separated from the employees and she leaves the restaurant.
A spokesperson for Five Guys told NBC Miami, “The actions displayed in this video are simply unacceptable. We are working with the franchise owner to do a full investigation and ensure appropriate disciplinary actions are taken.”
Police said they were not called.
