The most recent poll in Arkansas shows Ted Cruz with a slight lead on Donald Trump. According to RealClear Politics, Cruz led Trump in the poll by four percentage points.

Early polling shows Trump with a lead in nearly every Super Tuesday state aside from Texas and Arkansas. Polls show Cruz with a lead in both of the Southwestern states.

Cruz and Marco Rubio have been aggressive in their attacks on Trump in the last week. The attacks picked up steam in last week’s GOP debate in Texas. Rubio attacked Trump for his use of undocumented Polish workers to build the Trump Tower while Cruz criticized him for his unwillingness to release his tax documents to the general public.

There is limited polling data available in Arkansas. The most recent polls include candidates that have dropped out of the race. It still gives voters an idea of what to watch for on Super Tuesday. If things go like early polls suggest, Cruz needs to win both Arkansas and Texas to keep up with a surging Trump.
