Town Hall Preview

With a week remaining before the Wisconsin GOP primary, the candidates will stop in Wisconsin for a town hall discussion. It has been weeks since the candidates have participated in either a debate or town hall.

The tone of both the Trump and Cruz campaigns has turned personal. The wives of both men have been the center of the candidates discussion in the last week. It began when an Anti-Trump Super Pac began running an ad in Utah featuring an old photo of Melania Trump from a GQ photo shoot. Trump accused Cruz of being behind the ad and threatened to “spill the beans” on Heidi Cruz.

Given the close contest in Wisconsin, the town hall takes on added importance for the candidates as they look to secure a win in the state next week. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker announced today his endorsement of Cruz. The Cruz campaign hopes it will give them an added boost in next week’s primary.
