LIVE STREAM: Watch Bernie Sanders Prospect Park Rally Online

Bernie Sanders is hosting a rally in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park today, April 17. You can watch the rally on livestream above. Although earlier reports indicated the streaming would start sooner, it looks like the videos will begin around 4 p.m. Eastern — and the livestreams have started! This New York rally is expected to bring in even more people than his historic rally in Washington Square Park on Wednesday. That rally was attended by 27,000 people in the park and thousands more on overflow streets. (See photos from the rally here.)

The rally was scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Eastern, but the livestreams themselves began at 4 p.m. Eastern. If none of the livestreams work, C-SPAN will also be airing a livestream of the rally at this link.

Doors to the rally opened at 12 p.m. Eastern. The music began at 3 p.m. Eastern. Bernie Sanders’ speech is scheduled to begin around 4 p.m. Eastern, according to people at the event.

A second livestream is available below.

Bernie2016tv also has a livestream with a countdown here:

We are also including a list of people who have shared live videos on Periscope and may share more:

First, this attendee is periodically posting videos on Periscope from the event. You can see one of the Periscope videos here.

Latinos for Bernie just posted a Periscope video here and may post more.

If you plan to attend in person, the event is free but you’re asked to RSVP online if possible. Don’t bring bags and limit what you carry to small, personal items for security reasons. Security won’t allow in weapons, sharp objects, chairs, signs or banners on sticks. People will be allowed inside on a first-come, first-served basis, so get there early if you plan on attending. The entrance will be on the east side of the park near the boathouse, Brokelyn.com reported.

The rally today will feature Bernie Sanders himself, of course, and it will also have special guests Danny DeVito, Justin Long, and Grizzly Bear. To see photos from the rally, please see this story:
