WATCH: Donald Trump Doubles Down on Muslim Ban in Manchester Speech

In his first speech since Sunday night’s shooting in Orlando, Donald Trump doubled down on his proposed ban of all Muslim immigration.

Trump started off by stating that the Pulse nightclub shooter was born in Afghanistan, despite the fact that the man was born in New York. He implied that the attack would not have occurred had his immigration plan been in place.

“The only reason the killer was here is because we allowed his family to come here,” Trump said.

Trump went on to say that all Muslim immigration must be suspended until a system can be put in place to screen those who are coming into the country more accurately. Though Clinton refrained from mentioning Trump during her speech earlier today, saying now was not the time to politicize things, Trump repeatedly went after Clinton and blamed her policies for the attack.

“Why does Hillary Clinton want to bring in people who, in vast number, oppress our values?” Trump said. “Explain.”

He also attacked Clinton by saying she wants to repeal the second amendment, something Clinton has not actually suggested, and by saying that he is a better friend to the gay community, which he referred to as the “LBGT community.”

Finally, Trump once again claimed that many Muslims do not turn in potential terrorists and that these people must be prosecuted.

“They know what’s going on,” Trump said. “They knew that he was bad…but you know what? They didn’t turn him in, and we had death and destruction.”
