Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Redding, California this afternoon, one day after some of the most violent protests of the campaign.
Trump is scheduled to speak at the Redding Municipal Airport starting at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The event can be watched in the embedded YouTube player via Right Side Broadcasting.
This is Trump’s fifth rally in California ahead of Tuesday’s primary. He spoke on Thursday evening in San Jose, and the scene outside turned ugly shortly after the event ended. According to CNN, as Trump supporters left the San Jose Convention Center, protesters hurled eggs and water bottles at them. One man’s Make America Great Again hat was removed and burned. NBC News also reports that protesters smashed cars in the nearby parking lot.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta immediately condemned the violence on Twitter.
