Before Donald Trump took the stage at the Republican National Convention on July 21, the actor Jon Voight narrated a family biography video.
The video introduced the American public to Trump’s childhood, including the influence of his father, Fred, and it provided high lights on his real estate career. “Donald has said he admires people who put themselves directly on the line,” said the video. His children spoke in the video.

His son, Eric Trump, said, “He didn’t have to do this,” but he said that his father felt compelled to try to help the country. Politicians, such as Rudy Giuliani, spoke about Trump’s charity. Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke spoke about his support for law enforcement. “Donald will stand up for America,” said the video. Sen. Jeff Sessions spoke about Trump’s negotiating skills.
