Trump vs. Clinton: Presidential Polls Show Tight Race

The presidential race is tight between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump with just a week to go before the election. It remains to be seen how the recent news of the FBI investigating a new group of Clinton emails will impact the presidential race.

According to RealClear Politics, Clinton has an average lead of 2.5 percentage points. The polls show a wide range of outcomes. A Pew Research poll conducted October 20-25 shows Clinton with a 7 percentage point lead.

A Los Angeles Times/USC Tracking poll shows Trump with a 4 percentage point lead over Clinton. Trump has made headway in FiveThirtyEight’s polls-plus forecast. Trump now has a 25.5 percentage point chance of winning next week’s election. It is up a few percentage points from last week.

Trump is also up in PredictWise’s projections with a 13 percentage point chance of winning. Both metrics still heavily favor Clinton.
