The Donald Trump campaign has responded to a New York Times report that the Republican candidate sexually assaulted two women, Jessica Leeds three decades ago and Rachel Crooks in 2005.

After Trump’s claim that his comments in a leaked Access Hollywood tape were just “locker room talk,” two women shared their stories with the Times. Jessica Leeds alleges that on an airplane three decades ago, when she was a traveling businesswoman, Trump lifted her armrest up and began to grab her without her consent. They did not know each other before this.

The other woman, Rachel Crooks, alleges that when she was working as a receptionist at Trump Tower in 2005, Trump approached her in an elevator and immediately began kissing her on the mouth. This mirrors comments Trump made on the Access Hollywood tape that when he sees a beautiful woman, he just starts kissing them.

“It was so inappropriate,” Crooks told the Times. “I was so upset that he thought I was so insignificant that he could do that.”

Donald Trump has denied that these two incidents took place, and when approached by The New York Times, he screamed at the reporter and said she is a sick person.

“I don’t do it,” he said to the Times. “I don’t do it. It was locker room talk.”

His campaign’s recently-released statement slams the Times for reaching back decades for stories to smear Trump, although the second incident took place in 2005. Trump has, in recent weeks, been bringing forward women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault, and this story follows Kellyanne Conway stating on Twitter that every survivor of sexual assault should be believed.

Here is the official Trump campaign statement, written by communications director Jason Miller.

This entire article is fiction, and for the New York Times to launch a completely false, coordinated character assassination against Mr. Trump on a topic like this is dangerous. To reach back decades in an attempt to smear Mr. Trump trivializes sexual assault, and it sets a new low for where the media is willing to go in its efforts to determine this election.

It is absurd to think that one of the most recognizable business leaders on the planet with a strong record of empowering women in his companies would do the things alleged in this story, and for this to only become public decades later in the final month of a campaign for president should say it all.

Further, the Times story buries the pro-Clinton financial and social media activity on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s candidacy, reinforcing that this truly is nothing more than a political attack. This is a sad day for the Times.

  1. Get your facts straight. Kellyanne retweeted Hillary’s tweet, saying “RT if you agree. “Every” the operative word here”. Hillary Clinton is the one who said “Every survivor of sexual assault deserves to be heard, believed, and supported.”

  2. Now it is very clear that you people from media is afraid Hillary is now in coffin and 6 feet in ground. She will loose by land slide if you are coming with this 4 weeks before the election. SHAME ON YOU.

    • perhaps trump should have pulled in an extra table next to Bills accusers…….TRUMPS accusers need to be seated adjacent……ah, that is if KELLY ANN still thinks rape victims and victims of sexual harassment should be heard. So glorious that trump can no longer pay his victims off, and settle. I hear IVANA has been offered 5 million dollars, to recant her claim that drumpster did not RAPE her (HIS OWN FREAKING WIFE?). Perhaps she needs to set the record straight, since we know what an intimidating individual he is.
