WATCH: Joe Biden Implies He Wants to Beat up Donald Trump

Vice President Joe Biden said in a speech that, if he was still in high school, he would take Donald Trump “behind the gym.”

Watch the video above. Biden made the comment at a campaign appearance in Pennsylvania in which he sharply criticized Trump for the groping allegations he’s faced from multiple women.

“The press always asks me, don’t I wish I were debating him?” Biden said, while campaigning for Hillary Clinton. “No, I wish I were in high school, I could take him behind the gym. That’s what I wish.”

Biden indicated his revulsion over the comments Trump made to former Access Hollywood host Billy Bush on a 2005 hot mic, saying, “What he said he did and does is the textbook definition of sexual assault.”

Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, accused the news media of a double standard for not giving more attention and outrage to Biden’s comment. “Had Trump said this, it would be hair-on-fire #breakingnews with ‘violence’ and ‘bully’ trending, high school psychologists on TV panels,” Conway wrote.

Pollster Frank Luntz wondered why the media weren’t calling Biden unpresidential.

Some on Twitter also urged the media to give the comments more attention and wondered if Biden was saying he wanted to fight or beat up Trump.

Others didn’t think it was that big of a deal.

Some pointed out that Biden has endured his own controversies for touching other people at public events, by putting his hands on their shoulders or kissing them.

Some people circulated photos and videos of Biden touching other women – including Hillary Clinton – in the past.
