WATCH: Donald Trump Says He Didn’t Apologize to Melania Over Sexual Assault Allegations

During the final presidential debate on Wednesday, Donald Trump said that he has not apologized to his wife, Melania Trump, after nine different women came forward to accuse him of sexual assault.

“I didn’t even apologize to my wife, who’s sitting right here, because I didn’t do anything,” Trump said.

Just this week, Melania Trump said in an interview with Anderson Cooper that Donald Trump apologized to her, although she apparently meant that Trump apologized just for the vulgar Access Hollywood tape rather than for his alleged behavior towards women in the past.

“Those words, they were offensive to me and they were inappropriate,” Melania Trump said on CNN. “And he apologized to me. And I accept his apology. And we are moving on.”

Since the second presidential debate last week, at least nine different women have accused Donald Trump of sexual assault. Trump asserted in the third debate on Wednesday that most of the allegations against him have been debunked, which is not true. He also said that he suspects the sexual assault accusers were paid by the Clinton campaign, something that there is not evidence of.

“These people, I don’t know those people,” Trump said. “I have a feeling how they came – I believe it was her campaign that did it.”

Trump has dismissed the claims of these women in part because they waited to accuse him until a few weeks before the election. Despite this, one of his guests at the debate was Leslie Millwee, a woman who waited to accuse Bill Clinton of sexual assault a few weeks before the election.

More women are expected to come forward to make sexual assault allegations against Donald Trump; Gloria Allred, an attorney who is representing Trump accuser Summer Zervos, will have a press conference on Thursday with a new Trump accuser, according to The New York Daily News.
