President-elect Donald Trump is expected to hold a series of rallies in December, weeks after the end of the 2016 election.

According to BuzzFeed News’ Rosie Gray, Donald Trump’s advance director told members of the press today that Trump will go on a “victory tour” of states that he won, with the tour starting after Thanksgiving.

Trump hinted that he might do this during the campaign, saying during several campaign events that he may continue to hold rallies even after the election because he enjoys them so much, although it was never clear if he was joking. He also implied that he might do so even throughout his presidency as a way of connecting one-on-one with voters.

No information has been released about where Trump might hold his post-election rallies in, but Yahoo News reports that Trump wants to focus on swing states that the campaign was able to flip on November 8th. That would make Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Florida the most obvious contenders.

Other states that Trump frequently held rallies in and that he ultimately won include Arizona, Ohio, Iowa, North Carolina, and Maine’s 2nd Congressional District, so those would be some more potential spots for Trump events.

For much of the 2016 election, Donald Trump’s rallies were far different from a traditional campaign event during which a candidate delivers the same stump speech over and over. Rather, for months, Trump would go out in front of a packed auditorium with no prepared remarks whatsoever, simply riffing and feeding off of the audience’s energy. Because the events were so unpredictable, news networks often carried them live in their entirety, riveted by the spectacle of the whole thing. It was on the campaign trail that Trump was able to refine his message, seeing what his crowd liked and what they didn’t in the same way a standup comedian might fine-tune his act on the road.

During the last few weeks of the campaign, following the hiring of Kellyanne Conway, Donald Trump began speaking from a teleprompter at his rallies, giving essentially the same speech every time. But he still drew crowds of thousands everywhere he went, and the campaign phrases “lock her up” and “drain the swamp” were both developed during this final stretch of the campaign.

Trump rallies were a hit online, too, with each event being streamed on YouTube by thousands of users.
