Is ‘Chicago Fire’ on TV Tonight?

Because of Election Day, many primetime shows will not be airing tonight– one of them is Chicago Fire. Election coverage will take over NBC starting at 7pm ET/PT, with host Lester Holt. The network will take a short, half-hour break for News 4 New York from 11-11:30pm, before election coverage comes back on at 11:30pm.

Along with “Chicago Fire”, “This Is Us” will not be airing on Tuesday. The shows will return to their regularly scheduled times beginning next Tuesday, November 15.

Next week’s episode is titled “I Held Her Hand”, and the plot reads, “Casey is unable to save a woman from a burning house; and he and Severide disagree over the fire’s cause. Also: Herrmann is out to catch a mystery tagger who’s targeting the firehouse; Boden receives a surprise visitor; and Dawson and Brett respond when a teen boy is injured during a romantic homecoming proposal.”
