In one huddle, you’ll have a towering quarterback who slings the ball around the field for the NFL’s top-scoring offense. In the other, there will be one who stands under six feet but can beat you with both his arm and legs.
Matt Ryan and his high-octane Atlanta Falcons host Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks this weekend in an NFC Divisional Round Playoff game at the Georgia Dome.
Kickoff is scheduled for 4:35 p.m. Eastern on Saturday and the game will be televised by FOX.
The quarterbacks have faced each other three times — twice in the regular and once in the playoffs. Wilson holds a 2-1 edge, but Ryan and Atlanta picked up the postseason victory after the 2013 season. The Seahawks defeated the Falcons 26-24 in Week 6 earlier this year. Ryan lit up the ‘Hawks for 335 yards and 3 touchdowns, but Wilson led a fourth quarter comeback for the Seattle win.
