LIVE STREAM: Donald Trump Rally in Melbourne, Florida

Donald Trump is about to hold a rally for the first time as president of the United States.

Trump will be speaking from the Orlando-Melbourne International Airport beginning at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The entire event can be streamed live in the embedded YouTube player.

This Melbourne event appeared out of nowhere on the Donald Trump campaign website earlier this week. It was notably not posted on the White House website, and Press Secretary Sean Spicer later told reporters that this is technically a campaign event.

Throughout his presidential campaign, Donald Trump hinted that he might continue to hold rallies even after the election was over. And he did so in the fall with a series of “Thank You” rallies in states that helped him win on Election Day, although these rallies sounded an awful lot like his typical campaign events even though Trump was president-elect at that point.

Trump mentioned this Melbourne rally earlier this week, saying that he heard that it’s so popular you can not even get tickets to it, although tickets are still available on the Trump campaign website.

It’s unclear how regularly Trump plans to hold these events, but presumably they will be his way of bypassing the press and speaking directly to the American people. This rally is being held in Florida, a state Trump will be as he heads to his Mar-a-Lago resort for the third straight weekend.
