Trump Spoke About Peace Through Strength "We believe in three crucial words: peace through strength," Trump told the crowd, to loud cheers. "We will spend our money wisely, with just one negotiation or one set of airplanes, I saved the taxpayers of our country over $700 million dollars."
He spoke about Gorsuch, whose testimony to the Senate begins tomorrow. "His hearing is now underway ... and I urge members of both parties to swiftly approve his nomination. He's an outstanding man from an outstanding family with an unbelievably wonderful wife."
Trump then spoke about no longer putting coal miners out of work. "Our new EPA administer, a Kentucky native, will turn the EPA from a job killer into a job creator, you watch." Trump then said that since his inauguration, they'd already added half a million new jobs. He then talked about clearing the way for the Keystone and DAPL, and noted that they needed to use American steel to build the pipelines. "Like Henry Clay, we want to put our own people to work. We believe in two simple words: buy American and hire American." (Getty)
