During a speech at the National Rifle Association’s Annual Meeting on Friday, Donald Trump insulted Senator Elizabeth Warren, who he said might be the Democratic nominee for president in 2020.

Trump in his speech talked about the fact that the NRA now has a president who supports them, and he speculated that in a few years, the Democrats will be showing up at NRA events begging for the group’s support.

He said that the NRA should say “no sir” to those people, but he then corrected himself, noting that the candidate might be a woman, Elizabeth Warren.

“It may be Pocahontas, remember that,” Trump said.

Trump calls Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas” in reference to the fact that she said during her 2012 election campaign that she is of Native American descent, but she was never able to point to any proof that this is the case, and fact checkers like The Washington Post were never able to find any evidence of it.

Prior to this moment talking about Elizabeth Warren, Trump spent several minutes in his NRA speech recalling his election victory, once again bragging about the fact that he proved the media wrong by winning.

“What fun that was, November 8th,” he said. “Wasn’t that a great evening?”

Although this was a speech before the National Rifle Association, Trump did not only focus on guns; he touched on a variety of other issues, and the biggest applause of the afternoon came when he talked about building a wall along the southern border.
