Fernandez told KTRK-TV, “I was taking my family to go eat some pizza and we saw him coming towards us and he missed us and I saw the right side of his car gone.” He added to WTOL-TV, “There were two [pedestrians] on the corner, and he almost ran over them. That’s when we decided to turn around and start following him.”

In the video, Fernandez is filmed following the Mustang driver by one of his passengers while another calls the police.

Eventually, the weaving car pulls into an H-E-B grocery store parking lot, where Fernandez decides to perform a citizen’s arrest.

As he gets out of his car, joined by others, they approach Ash’s window, unlock his car, and pull him out of it. They then detain Ash until the police arrive.

Ash is now out of jail on bond, reports KHOU.
