Trump’s Orange ‘Make America Great Again’ Halloween Hats Have Sold Out

It has been about a week since President Donald Trump’s team started selling special edition Halloween hats. Now, just one day after Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara modeled her hat on social media, they have sold out.

Trump’s slogan, “Make America Great Again,” was embroidered on thousands (if not millions) of red baseball-style hats during his campaign. These hats, which are sold for $25, have become quite popular and are still for sale today. Over the past year and a half, they have become a Trump-supporter staple.

With Halloween just a one week away, Trump’s team decided to create a new version of the hat for the occasion. The new orange hats, which have proven themselves to be a hot commodity, feature a Jack-O-Lantern front and Trump’s slogan on the back. They have a retail price of $45, which is $20 more than the classic red MAGA hats.

You can check out the special edition hat below.

The hats were available for purchase through October 23 to be guaranteed by October 31. According to Time Money, the hats will not be restocked before Halloween. The orange hats are now considered “rare” and are listed on auction sites such as eBay for over $200 each.

The website dedicated to selling Donald Trump merchandise is run by the Trump Make America Great Again Committee. They sell t-shirts, medals, dog leashes, stickers, drinkware, and, of course, hats, in an effort to raise money for Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. and the Republican National Committee.

“Together, the fundraising committees have raised millions this year, according to filings from the Federal Election Commission,” Time Money reports.

Although the orange hats sold out rather quickly, social media hasn’t been too impressed with them. In fact, many Twitter users couldn’t help but post jokes about the hat’s color. You can check out some of those posts below.
