No Mo-Stache on ‘Shark Tank’: A Look Inside the Portable Lip Waxing Kit Sold in Sephora

(ABC)

No Mo-Stache entered the Shark Tank with its lip waxing kit designed for women on the go. The hypoallergenic set contains 24 individual strips and a packet of aloe, stored in a small travel tin that fits in your pocket.

We interviewed co-founder, waxing salon owner Jennifer Paschall, who started the company with her friend, fashion exec Gita Vasseghi.

Since 2012, they’ve sold 100,000 kits and have plans to introduce more products for busy travelers under their Yes Mo Beauty Brand.

Here’s what else she told us about…

How the Idea Came About

I have owned a waxing salon for nine years. Gita has been in the fashion industry for six-plus years and was always traveling from trade show to trade show for work. We realized that women needed a portable waxing solution for days when you can’t make it to the salon and are too busy with daily routines.

How They Work

No Mo-Stache offers pre coated cold wax strips that warm up with friction in between the hands. Rub in hands for 10 seconds, pull strip apart and place onto skin. Rub the strip back and forth for hair to adhere to wax and pull opposite of hair growth. We offer an aloe cream for post wax relief.

Where You Can Buy Them

You can buy our product on our website at our website, Sephora, Anthropologie, Ulta in Spring of 2018, Harvey Nichols and Virgin Megastore. We really want to be in CVS by 2018.
