Starbucks is kicking off this holiday season not only by offering new, holiday-themed drinks but also by offering a special buy one get one free offer. In a holiday share event they’ve dubbed ‘Give Good,’ Starbucks is offering buy one get one holiday drinks to share with a loved one.
The event starts at 2 p.m. on November 9 and lasts from 2 to 5 p.m. every day until November 13. The buy one get one offer is good for a free drink of equal or lesser value and applies to hot, iced and blended holiday beverage in the U.S. The offer should be available at any Starbucks near you.
The holiday drink lineup includes two new holiday beverages: the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha and the Chestnut Praline Chai Tea Latte. The offer also include the Holiday Spice Flat White, Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulee Late, Gingerbread Latte and the Eggnog Latte.

Starbucks is also encouraging customers to Give Good to their loved ones by participating in its holiday beverage Share Event. Starting today through Nov. 13 from 2 to 5 p.m. each day, Starbucks customers who buy one holiday beverage will get another one free* to share at participating Starbucks stores in the United States (dates, times and locations in other markets vary).
The Give Good campaign encourages goodness throughout the holiday season. All goodness counts, the simple gesture of opening the door for a stranger, recognizing the people who enrich your life, or the generosity of volunteering in the community.
The holiday cups were released last week as part of the Holiday Share Give Good event.
The bakery at Starbucks also got an update for the holiday season. Select stores now carry a new Candy Cane Whoopie Pie, which is made from sweet peppermint icing and rich chocolate cakes. The bakeries will also have the Gingerbread Loaf, Snowman Cake Pop, Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop, Snowman Cookie and Cranberry Bliss bar.
It’s not a surprise that the merchandise available at Starbucks stores also got a touchup for the holiday season. The stores are now offering new tumblers, mugs, cold cups and holiday-themed Starbucks gift cards. These gifts will be available starting November 9 until the products run out.
The holiday festivities began November 9 with the Share Good, Give Good Facebook Live mural event in New York City. A group of Starbucks muralists, illustrators and painters created a mural inspired by the gift of giving from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. EST. The artists started from the Starbucks holiday cup canvas and continued with the mural by adding to it with ideas contributed by Facebook users using the hashtag #GiveGood.
“We love the idea that what the mural will become is up to our customers, and we think it will be an artful and interactive monument to all the ways we can express the season and give good,” said Leanne Fremar, executive creative director for Starbucks. “The Give Good Share Event and mural are just the beginning. We have many more good things planned this season.”
