Fun fact: You may remember Rogue from the 90's cartoon as a sweet talking southern beauty. "But couldn't she fly and punch as hard as superman in that cartoon!" you might ask? Well yes, but that was because she used her mutant ability to absorb the power of Ms. Marvel, who was subsequently put into a coma. Rogue did eventually lose those powers and Ms. Marvel awoke. For the majority of her career as an X-Man her powers were viewed as a curse, as she could not touch anyone without some kind of protection, otherwise she would absorb their life force along with their powers. She has since learned to control her powers to the point where she no longer unwillingly siphons a persons powers, she can siphon memories and thoughts, and she can wield multiple powers at once. It's up in the air right now when we'll see her on the big screen next, as apparently her only scene in Days of Future Past has been cut. SPOILERS!!!! She's dead too. Yupp. Right after she offed Scarlet Witch, the resurrected villain Grim Reaper destroyed her right down to her skeleton. Although she had Wolverine's healing factor at the time so it is still to be seen if she is really dead.
