For the second straight year, Kentucky is the No. 1 team in the country in the preseason USA Today coaches’ poll.

The Wildcats, who underachieved in the regular season last year only to make it all the way to the national championship game as a No. 8 seed before losing to UConn, have the country’s best recruiting class.

Kentucky received 24 of 32 first-place votes, with Arizona and Wisconsin receiving 3 votes apiece and Duke receiving 2.

UConn, which has won four titles in the past 15 years and two in the past four, is 15th in the poll.
