New England’s goal came from Chris Tierney at the 79th minute to tie the game at 1.

Gyasi Zardes scored the first goal of the game. It came in the 52nd minute.

The LA Galaxy are looking to earn their record-breaking fifth title, while the New England Revolution are looking for their first.

The Revolution finished second in the Eastern Conference with a 17-4-13 record for 55 points. The Galaxy were second in the Western Conference and finished 17-10-7 for 61 points.

The game, which will be played in LA, is set to be the last for the Galaxy’s all-time scoring leader Landon Donovan.
