Former NBA player and current CBS analyst Greg Anthony was arrested Friday evening in Washington, D.C., for soliciting a prostitute.

Anthony is married to Chere Lucas Anthony, a Board Certified Dermatologist in Florida.

Dr. Chere Lucas Anthony is a Board Certified Dermatologist practicing with Dr. Marta Rendon at the Dermatology and Aesthetic Center, in Boca Raton, Florida.

According to her practice’s website, she “provides a variety of services, including cosmetic procedures, dermatologic surgery, and pediatric and adult dermatology.”


2. Chere Gave Birth to a Daughter Last Year

Chere gave birth to a daughter in March 2014.

In addition to his 10-month-old daughter, Greg Anthony has 3 other children, including 2 with his ex-wife.


3. Anthony’s Ex-Wife Co-Authored a Racy Novel With Patrick Ewing’s Wife

Greg Anthony’s ex-wife, Crystal McCrary Anthony, is a lawyer and novelist.

She, along with Patrick Ewing’s wife Rita, wrote Homecourt Advantage, a racy novel about the lives of the fictional “New York Flyers” basketball team and their wives and girlfriends.

She also co-wrote Gotham Diaries and is a producer/director.

McCrary won the 2005 Blackboard Fiction Book of the Year for Gotham Diaries and was chosen as one of Crain’s New York Business’s 40 under 40 in 2007.

McCrary and Greg Anthony have 2 children together, Cole and Ella.

Chere received a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology modified with Biology from Dartmouth College.

She received her degree in medicine from Duke University School of Medicine. At Duke, Dr. Anthony was granted a Stead Fellowship for her research in melanoma and subsequent publications.
