Joey Logano apparently likes being out in front.
Days after winning the Daytona 500, the 24-year-old was the fastest in qualifying at Atlanta Motor Speedway and will start on the pole for Sunday’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500.
The second race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup season sees Kevin Harvick, Jamie McMurray and Denny Hamlin in the 2-3-4 spots, respectively. Defending champion Kasey Kahne will start in the 10th position.
