Entering his lucky 7th season on the NASCAR scene, Joey Logano won the 57th annual Daytona 500. He led 31 of the 200 total laps in the race.
Logano drives the No. 22 Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the No. 22 Ford Mustang in the Nationwide Series for Team Penske. He previously drove for Joe Gibbs Racing from 2008 to 2012.
Logano is the youngest Nationwide Series race winner at 18 years and 21 days, and Sprint Cup Series winner (19 years, 35 days). The 2015 Daytona 500 won the race at 24-years-old. This is the 9th victory of his career — the 2nd for Roger Penske. He also has 43 top-five finishes and 82 top-10 finishes in his career.
