The Big 12 Tournament figures to be one of the more entertaining conference postseason events in the nation.

It features 5 teams ranked in the AP Top 25 – No. 9 Kansas, No. 16 Baylor, No. 15 Oklahoma, No. 13 Iowa State and No. 18 West Virginia.

And if you’ve kept up with the conference this season, you know any of those teams could get the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Not that they need it; all 5 are locks to participate in March Madness. But a conference tournament crown could go a long way when it comes time for seeding.

At 13-5 in conference play and 24-7 overall, Kansas is the favorite. But the Big 12 was competitive and top-heavy this year, so the Jayhawks certainly don’t have this one in the bag.
