The Tar Heels Hot Start Contributed to a Double-digit Halftime Lead

Just like the way the Tar Heels started the game, they ended the half with a large run — a 10-2 run. Most analysts were expecting Marcus Paige to lead North Carolina guns blazing into the tournament, however, it is Wesley Saunders of Harvard who leads the game in scoring with 15 points.

Paige only has three points on 1-for-4 shooting. It is Isaiah Hicks who leds the Tar Heels in scoring, off the bench, with nine points.

Harvard’s 2nd-half Rally Fell Shy

Saunders continued to the will the Crimson in the 2nd half as he finished the game with 26 points. NC did not play its best game, and were lucky to survive an upset bid on a day where two three seeds went down.
